Riyadh, The Architecture and Design Commission is taking part in the Downtown Design Fair, which is being held from November 8 to 11 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a pavilion that displays products stamped “Designed in Saudi”.

The products reflect the creativity and potential of local industrial designers; each product underwent a series of evaluation by a panel of international and local experts in the industrial design sector before being granted the brand.

The stamp is part of the “Designed in Saudi” initiative, which is concerned with developing the industrial design sector in the Kingdom through a strategic vision that aims to empower local talent in industrial product design by creating a supportive environment.

By participating in the fair, the Architecture and Design Commission seeks to acknowledge designers from the Kingdom and provide them with a platform to display and promote their designs on an international stage.

The fair also provides an opportunity for the designers to interact with world counterparts, and exchange ideas and experience, which contributes to the development of the sector.
