The Qatari golf team participated on Friday in the second round of the men’s and women’s teams competitions in the 19th Asian Games, Hangzhou.
Saleh Al Kaabi, Ali Al Shahrani, Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi and Abdul Rahman Al Shahrani participated in the mens competition, while Nada Mir participated in the second round of the womens competition.
Meanwhile,the Qatari swimming team player Abdullah Al Khalidi, competed in the 50-meter breaststroke competition and ranked 17th, and Abdullah Al Ghamri participated in the 200-meter breaststroke competition and achieved 19th place.
Ahmed Dhiyab participated in the 400-meter freestyle swimming competition and came on the 22nd place, Abdullah Al Khalidi came in 24th place, while Tamim Muhammad achieved 16th place in the 200-meter butterfly competition and and his colleague Muhammad Jilani came in 15th place.
Qatar’s duo consisting of Tamim Al Kuwari and Salman Al Farsi, faced great difficulty in cycling and triathlon competitions and fail to finish the race due to the high temperatures.
