Gold Coast, The Bahrain national football team secured a 1-0 victory against Australia today at Robina Stadium in Gold Coast, during the first round of Group C in the third stage of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In the 89th minute, the Australian defender Harry Souttar mistakenly scored the only goal in the match, giving Bahrain 3 valuable points in a highly competitive and tense game.
