Doha: Bahrain's Foreign Minister (FM) Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani held a phone call on Sunday with his Romanian counterpart Oana-Silvia Toiu. They discussed regional developments, the impact of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on marine navigation, and international trade and global economy, as well as ongoing regional efforts aimed at safeguarding security and stability and ensuring freedom of marine navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two officials also discussed via the call cooperation relations between Bahrain and Romania and ways of further developing them.
