Bahraini, Japanese FMs Discuss Regional Updates over Phone

Manama: Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani received a phone call on Wednesday from his Japanese counterpart, Toshimitsu Motegi. The conversation focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring methods to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers also exchanged views on pressing regional developments. Their discussion included the Iranian attacks on Bahrain, other GCC member states, and neighboring countries. Additionally, they addressed concerns about the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and its potential impact on the global economy, energy and food supplies, and international trade.
