Behavioral Healthcare Center Unveils ‘Family Diaries’ Educational Cartoon Series for Children

Doha: The Behavioral Healthcare Center (Daam), part of the Qatar Social Work Foundation and affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and Family, has officially launched an educational cartoon series titled "Family Diaries" for children. The event witnessed attendance from several officials and content creators focused on children's programming.

According to Qatar News Agency, the center issued a statement on Monday highlighting that the series is part of their ongoing efforts to instill positive values in children. The series is sponsored by the General Administration of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, in collaboration with Qatar TV and the Cultural Village Foundation - Katara.

Rashid bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Behavioral Healthcare Center, announced this initiative aimed at raising educational and cultural awareness among today's and future generations. He remarked that the series merges innovative ideas with quality production to instill social values through positive messages that encourage balanced thinking between tradition and modernity. Al Nuaimi credited the project's success to the collaboration between national bodies and institutions.

He expressed gratitude towards the General Administration of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs for their unwavering support, underscoring their commitment to providing meaningful content for children. Al Nuaimi also acknowledged Qatar TV's role in broadcasting the series, which will help reach a wide audience nationwide.

In addition, he praised the Cultural Village Foundation - Katara for its support of cultural and social initiatives that contribute to societal progress. He anticipated that "Family Diaries" would pave the way for more initiatives promoting noble values and community development.

Jawaher Abu Alfain, Director of Community Awareness at the center, stated that the series aligns with their strategy to leverage modern media platforms to engage target audiences, utilizing digital technologies to effectively disseminate awareness messages. She emphasized that "Family Diaries" represents a step forward in supporting initiatives that foster noble societal values and prepare a conscious generation for future challenges.

Project manager Andalous Ibrahim revealed that the cartoon series comprises 15 episodes, set to air on Qatar TV during Ramadan and available on the center's YouTube channel. The launch event featured the premiere of the first episode, along with interactive and educational segments aimed at engaging the audience.
