Kuwait city: Fire crews in Kuwait have brought a blaze under control at two fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport, following what authorities described as a targeted hostile attack.
According to Qatar News Agency, Spokesman for Kuwait's General Fire Force, Brigadier General Mohammed Al Ghareeb, informed reporters that the targeted tanks are operated by the Kuwait Aviation Fuelling Company (KAFCO). He reported limited damage to the property and confirmed that no casualties were recorded.
Al Ghareeb commended the firefighting teams for their swift response and readiness in managing the incident immediately after receiving the alert, ensuring that the situation was quickly contained and further damage prevented.
