Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting at the Amiri Diwan, marking the resumption of the sessions post-summer break. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of enhancing efforts to meet the goals of the Third National Development Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030 under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
According to Qatar News Agency, one of the key issues discussed was the preparation for the 2025-2026 academic year, which includes opening new schools and revising curricula to strengthen educational foundations. The Cabinet expressed optimism for a successful academic year, aligning with the national development strategy in the education sector.
The Cabinet also approved a draft decision related to the auditing profession and decided on measures to ratify the charter for the World Water Council. Additionally, an agreement for technical cooperation with the United Nations and a memorandum with Albania on public prosecution were endorsed.
Further, the Cabinet approved a program for agricultural, animal, and fisheries cooperation with Oman for 2025-2027. The session concluded with reviews of four reports, leading to decisions on cybersecurity budgets, national port security, and participation outcomes in international and regional meetings.
