Tripoli: HE Chairman of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya, Dr. Mohamed Al Menfi, held a crucial meeting with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Libya, Dr. Khalid Mohammed bin Zaben Al Dosari. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two nations and addressing the latest developments in Libya.
According to Qatar News Agency, discussions included supporting the Presidential Council's efforts to establish a joint truce committee in collaboration with the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL). This initiative aims to foster dialogue and national consensus.
HE Ambassador Al Dosari emphasized Qatar's commitment to facilitating dialogue among Libyan factions. He highlighted that dialogue is vital for overcoming differences, rejecting violence, and achieving a unified national stance.
