Gaza: A total of 37 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have been confirmed dead, including five bodies recovered from beneath the debris, bringing the total death toll from the ongoing Israeli genocidal war to 54,418.
According to Qatar News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Health in the enclave added that 136 wounded people have been admitted into hospitals, taking the total number of injuries since Oct. 7, 2023, to 124,190.
Many civilian victims are still trapped under the rubble or scattered on the streets, with rescue and civil defense teams unable to reach them. The statement noted that since the resumption of the war on the Strip on March 18, 2025, 4,149 people have been confirmed killed and 12,149 others wounded.
The war-torn enclave is experiencing a catastrophic humanitarian situation as humanitarian aid, medications, and medical equipment are denied access to hospitals. More than two million people are being displaced in camps and shelters under extremely difficult living conditions.
