Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 55,207 martyrs, in addition to 127,821 wounded.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of martyrs who arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours reached 103, along with 427 wounded. The ministry noted that since the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18, the total death toll and injuries have reached 4,924 martyrs and 15,780 wounded.
The ministry further detailed that 245 martyrs and over 2,152 injured individuals arrived at hospitals from areas designated for aid distribution. Among these, 21 martyrs died today, while 245 others were injured. There are still numerous martyrs under the rubble, as ambulance and civil defense crews struggle to recover their bodies.
The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is increasingly complex. The Israeli occupation's prevention of humanitarian aid entry, coupled with continued bombings of all areas, including medical and service facilities and tents of displaced people, exacerbates the crisis.
