Gaza: The death toll from the unrelenting Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 60,138, with 146,269 wounded.
According to Qatar News Agency, a statement from Gaza's Ministry of Health highlighted on Wednesday that hospitals in the Strip received bodies of 104 Palestinians, including a Palestinian whose body was recovered from under the rubble, as well as 399 wounded during the latest 24-hour reporting period.
There are numerous victims lying underneath the rubble and on the streets, with medical and civil defense personnel unable to reach them due to a shortage of equipment, the statement said.
The statement added that over the past 24 hours, hospitals received 60 martyrs from those who were queuing for aid, along with over 195 wounded persons, bringing the total number of those who reached hospitals to 1,239 martyrs and over 8,152 wounded.
The statement further indicated that since March 18, following the Israeli breach of the humanitarian pause, the number of casualties reached 8,970 martyrs and 34,228 wounded.
