Department of Meteorology Warns of Poor Horizontal Visibility.


Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Monday will be misty to foggy at most places at first, and moderate in temperature with some clouds, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected poor horizontal visibility at most places at first. Offshore, the weather will be hazy to misty at first, with some clouds at times, the report added.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be variable northwesterly – northeasterly at a speed of 03 – 13 KT. Offshore, it will be variable southwesterly – northwesterly at a speed of 02 – 12 KT. Sea state inshore will be 1 – 2 ft; while offshore will be 1 – 3 ft. Visibility inshore will be 3 – 7 km/ 1 km or less at most places at first, while offshore will be 4 – 8 km/ 3 km or less at most places at first.

The report also detailed high and low tide times for various areas, with Doha experiencing high tides at 01:37 and 12:02 and low tides at 05:09 and 20:19. Other areas such as Mesaieed, Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, Dukhan, and Abu Sa
mra have their respective tide schedules, with maximum temperatures ranging from 28 to 31 degrees. Sunrise and sunset are expected at 05:48 LT and 16:47 LT, respectively.
