Department of Meteorology Warns of Strong Winds, High Sea Offshore

Doha: Weather inshore, until 6:00 pm on Monday, will be moderate temperature to relatively hot, with scattered clouds and chance of rain, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, there will be scattered clouds with a chance of scattered rain, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northerly to northwesterly at 05-15 KT, gusting to 25 KT at times. Offshore, it will be mainly northwesterly at 10-20 KT, gusting to 27 KT at times. Sea state inshore will be 2-4 ft, rising to 5 ft at times, while offshore, it will be 3-6 ft, rising to 8 ft at times.

Visibility inshore is expected to be between 4-8 km, and offshore, it will range from 5-10 km. High and low tide timings vary across regions, with Doha experiencing high tides at 05:51 and 19:51, and low tides at 02:07 and 13:25, with temperatures fluctuating between 23°C and 29°C.

In Dukhan, high tides will occur at 00:33 and 13:10, and low tides at 06:58 and 19:01, with temperatures ranging from 21°C to 25°C. Mesaieed will see high tides at 06:41 and 21:33, low tides at 03:35 and 13:32, and temperatures between 22°C and 29°C. Wakrah's high tides are expected at 06:36 and 20:58, low tides at 02:52 and 13:17, with temperatures spanning from 22°C to 27°C.

Al Khor will have high tides at 05:30 and 19:12, low tides at 01:15 and 13:01, and temperatures between 21°C and 29°C. Ruwais will experience high tides at 07:29 and 19:32, low tides at 01:43 and 13:28, with temperatures ranging from 21°C to 23°C. Abu Samra's high tides are expected at 00:17 and 12:46, low tides at 06:03 and 18:17, with temperatures between 21°C and 25°C.

Sunrise is expected at 05:20 LT, and sunset at 17:52 LT.
