Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, received Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al Murshid, CEO of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD).
Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, and Ibrahim Hassan Ali Al Hawaj, Works Minister were present.
The deputy prime minister praised the role of SFD in following up the implementation of vital projects in the infrastructure sector that it finances within the Gulf Development Program, which reflects the depth of relations between the two countries, and contributes directly to advancing the economic development in Bahrain.
He also emphasised on the support and care of the historical bilateral relations led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Shaikh Khalid stressed the cooperation between the two kingdoms in various fields, especially the economic sector, with the aim of continuing to strengthen bilateral work, and supporting it to achieve the desired goals and common visions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
