The visiting Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha and Silk Road Fund (SRF) Chairwoman Zhu Jun discussed the strategic partnership between the two sides and ways to enhance joint technology investment.
During the meeting in Beijing, the two sides discussed China’s access to regional markets through the Kingdom, which owns the largest share of the region’s digital economy.
The two sides also discussed support for the digital economy and entrepreneurship.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Abdulrahman Al-Harbi.
Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology Haytham Al-Ohali also met with ZhenFund officials and discussed cooperation and start-up investments with its co-founder Victor Wang.
The meetings were part of the official visit of Al-Swaha and his accompanying delegation to China to enhance technology and investment cooperation.
