Doha: Al Sadd delivered a dominant 4-1 victory over Al Gharafa in the final match of Week 3 of the 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Saturday. Yousef Abdulrazaq, Claudinho, Akram Afif, and Roberto Firmino were on target for The Wolves, who maintained their perfect start to the season with a maximum nine points and strengthened their position at the top of the table.
According to Qatar News Agency, Yacine Brahimi scored a late consolation for The Cheetahs in the 82nd minute. Al Gharafa remained on three points from a single win so far. Abdulrazaq opened the scoring early, converting a right-footed shot from close range into the bottom-left corner after a precise assist from Firmino. Afif then played a key role in the second goal, delivering a swerving cross on a fast break that Claudinho finished. Afif added the third himself early in the second half following excellent work by Pedro Miguel.
Brahimi briefly raised hopes for the visitors with a goal eight minutes from time, but Firmino sealed the win deep into stoppage time, underlining Al Sadd's superior attacking quality.
