Doha: The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) marked its tenth anniversary since its inception in 2015, with a celebratory event attended by leaders, deans, faculty members, and administrative staff of the institute.
According to Qatar News Agency, the DI kicked off its first anniversary activities by featuring a group of its graduates who shared their success stories. This initiative aimed to highlight their experiences and the benefits they gained from the academic programs offered by the DI.
Dr. Abdelwahab El Affendi, President of DI, noted that the anniversary celebrations began by focusing on the graduates' success stories. Throughout the year, academic activities will be organized with the participation of faculty members and distinguished guests, including prominent academics and university presidents from Qatar and around the world.
Dr. Ibrahim Fraihat, Dean of Student Affairs at the DI, emphasized that the tenth anniversary represents a significant milestone that underscores the successes the Institute has achieved since its launch in 2015.
The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, established as an independent academic institution in Qatar in 2015, aims to qualify a generation of researchers and professionals. It seeks to contribute to knowledge production, sustainable development, and the advancement of Arab societies.
