Key areas of focus include eliminating hunger, providing social protection, and ensuring access to education, employment, and healthcare, with special attention to vulnerable populations such as women, children, and persons in precarious situations.

The declaration also highlights the importance of reinforcing international development cooperation to assist developing countries in eradicating poverty and closing financing gaps. It calls for exploring additional finance opportunities through public and private channels, ensuring sustainable financing for social protection systems, and investing in poverty eradication programs.

Further commitments include integrating quality education into poverty reduction strategies, transitioning from informal to formal economies, and promoting child-sensitive policies within national poverty strategies.
