Dollar Gains, Euro Dips


London: The euro fell to a three-week low early on Monday while the dollar made slight gains. Against the Mexican peso, the dollar rose 0.28% to 18.6763.



According to Qatar News Agency, the single currency later regained some ground and last traded 0.13% lower at $1.1676. Elsewhere, sterling was down 0.15% to $1.3470, while the Japanese yen rose marginally to 147.31 per dollar.



In other currencies, the Australian dollar fell 0.12% to $0.6566, while the New Zealand dollar slid 0.37% to $0.5987. The figures did little to move the yuan at 7.1706 per dollar. Its offshore counterpart edged up slightly to 7.1710 per dollar.
