EAA Leads Global Dialogue on Youth Empowerment and Economic Inclusion


Doha: The Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, a global education and development organization, convened two high-level sessions in partnership with international organizations to address some of the most pressing challenges facing youth and vulnerable communities worldwide.



According to Qatar News Agency, EAA’s Silatech Programme, in collaboration with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), hosted a session titled “An Introspective Look: From Challenges to Solutions for Advancing Youth Economic Empowerment Programming.” This event aims to identify solutions to tackle youth unemployment by encouraging innovative approaches to decent work and social inclusion. The session emphasizes the significance of prioritizing relevant youth employability and employment programs and policies in response to global shifts and future realities.



Speakers at the event included Director-General of QFFD Fahad Al-Sulaiti, HE Director of International Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sheikha Hanouf Abdulrahman Al-Thani, ILO Assistant Director-General for External and Corporate Relations Laura Thompson, Executive Director for Global Client Solution Laurent Biddiscombe at AFD, and Director-General of Global Practice and Partnerships at IsDB Dr. Issa Faye.



In partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) and the Government of Kenya, EAA’s Silatech Programme contributed to the panel “Unlocking Skills, Employment, and Resilient Food Systems in Kenya.” This session focused on innovative Economic Inclusion Programmes for youth and the collaborative efforts between governments, international agencies, and the private sector to expand employment, strengthen climate-resilient livelihoods, and transition from protection to long-term prosperity.



EAA’s Chief Economic Empowerment Officer Mana Al Ansari emphasized that the sessions reflect the foundation’s commitment to advancing practical solutions linking education, employment, and social inclusion. The Education Above All Foundation reaffirmed its global commitment to advancing inclusive education, youth empowerment, and social protection.
