Earthquake of 3.5 Magnitude Hits North of Kirkuk

Kirkuk:An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck north of the city of Kirkuk, Iraq, on Wednesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology reported that the quake was centered approximately 25 kilometers north of Kirkuk.

Monitoring teams are actively tracking seismic activity in the area to detect any possible aftershocks in the coming hours.

There have been no reports of casualties or material damage.
