Doha: Egypt welcomed the success of the Sultanate of Oman's efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Yemen with the US.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement today, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its hope that this agreement will have a positive impact on freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. The Ministry stressed its hope that the coming period will witness a commitment to this agreement, which will provide a constructive impetus to ending the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and efforts to establish security and stability in the region.
