Ehsan Center Introduces Holy Quran Competition for Elderly

Doha:The Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care (Ehsan) has introduced a Holy Quran competition specifically for the elderly. This initiative is part of Ehsan's ongoing efforts to address the religious, cultural, and social needs of older adults, while enhancing their quality of life and encouraging active participation in society.

According to Qatar News Agency, the competition aims to motivate elderly participants to recite, memorize, and reflect on the Holy Quran. It offers a platform for positive competition in a spiritual setting, strengthening their connection with the Holy Quran. The competition also recognizes the participants' efforts in learning, memorizing, and mastering the recitation Tajweed of the Holy Quran.

Ehsan Center emphasized that the competition underscores its commitment to providing programs tailored to the interests of the elderly, encouraging their involvement in community and religious activities. The initiative seeks to highlight and honor outstanding participants, reinforcing their status and sense of social inclusion.

The competition will adhere to established terms, regulations, and judging criteria to ensure fairness and equal opportunities.
