Doha:London: European stock indexes experienced an upswing at the start of trading on Tuesday, buoyed by Wall Street's performance. The Nasdaq Composite had reached a new record high on Monday, driven by shares of major technology companies, despite a significant rise in interest rates.
According to Qatar News Agency, France's CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange saw a 0.23 percent increase. Meanwhile, Germany's DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange climbed by 0.45 percent.
In other markets, the UK's FTSE 100 index rose by 0.57 percent. Italy's MIB index on the Milan Stock Exchange recorded a 0.64 percent increase, and Madrid's stock exchange index climbed by 0.67 percent.
