European Stocks Open Lower Amid Rising Energy Prices

Doha: European stocks indices edged lower on Tuesday affected by rising energy prices. In major European markets, the pan-European STOXX 600 was down 0.2% at 648.41 points, France's CAC 40 index in Paris fell by 0.33%, and Germany's DAX index in Frankfurt declined by 0.26%.

According to Qatar News Agency, Italy's MIB index on the Milan Stock Exchange declined by 0.03%, while Britain's FTSE 100 index in London was near flat at 0.02%.
