European Stocks Rise as Bond Selling Stabilizes


Doha: European stocks rose on Wednesday, recovering after sharp losses suffered in the previous session, as selling in long-term bonds appeared to stabilize amid anticipation of US jobs data. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index climbed 0.4 percent to 545.35 points, boosted by a 1.3 percent gain in the technology sector, which recorded the best performance.



According to Qatar News Agency, Adidas shares rose 2.5 percent, while Swiss Life shares fell 2.4 percent.
