Doha: President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), Mohammed Ben Sulayem praised the outstanding organization of the Qatar Airways Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix, which has become a prominent event on the World Championship calendar and is considered one of the best rounds of the championship in terms of safety and security.
According to Qatar News Agency, the FIA President affirmed that the great success achieved by the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix reflects the advanced position that the State of Qatar has attained in hosting major international sporting events, especially in the field of motorsport.
Ben Sulayem emphasized that the State of Qatar has provided everything possible for motorsports, whether in terms of the outstanding organization of championships, the availability of integrated infrastructure, or attention to the smallest details that make a difference in such global events.
The FIA President praised the Lusail International Circuit, considering it one of the most important and prominent circuits in the world, given its distinctive identity, unique design, and distinctive colors that give it an attractive character for both racers and fans.
The FIA President affirmed that the huge public turnout at the Lusail International Circuit over the past three days increased the success of the event, given the interaction and enthusiasm everyone witnessed in the stands, which gave the race exceptional energy, and proved that the fans are an integral part of the success system.
He praised the initiative of the officials at the Lusail International Circuit regarding writing the directional signs for the race and the names of the drivers in Arabic in various parts of the Lusail International Circuit, and the mark of Arab culture it carried, which reflected the identity of the place and attracted everyone's attention and won their admiration.
He lauded the outstanding organization within the Lusail International Circuit, especially with regard to the facilities and smooth entry and exit of the fans through controlling the flow of access to any place within the circuit.
He stressed that the organizers in the State of Qatar paid attention to the smallest organizational details, whether at the level of the wonderful facilities in the events area or the fans' stands.
Concluding his remarks, the FIA President expressed his great confidence in the future of Formula 1 racing in Qatar.
