The Film Commission has just revealed the target groups to participate in the Filmathon initiative, which was launched by the commission under the theme "Innovation in Filmmaking" to develop innovative and cutting-edge technological products that will contribute to the advancement of the film industry.
According to the commission, the target audience are entrepreneurs, filmmakers, university students specializing in technical fields, artificial intelligence startups, and emerging technologies enthusiasts.
The Filmathon initiative is a pioneering event in the Kingdom that seeks to support the film industry in Saudi Arabia, foster the growth of the filmmaking industry, stimulate the production and development of innovative technologies in the sector, refine technical and creative skills and enable participants to develop innovative technological products that tackle the various challenges encountered in the filmmaking industry in the Kingdom.
