Gaza Death Toll From Israeli Genocide Rises to 72,797, Health Officials Say

Gaza: The death toll from the war in Gaza has risen to 72,797 since the genocide began on Oct. 7, 2023, according to health authorities in the territory. Officials reported that an additional six people were killed in the past 24 hours, including one individual who succumbed to previous injuries, while eight others sustained wounds.

According to Qatar News Agency, health sources revealed that since the collapse of the ceasefire on October 11 last year, 904 people had lost their lives and 2,713 had been wounded. Furthermore, 777 bodies have been recovered since that period.

Authorities indicated that numerous victims remain trapped under debris or situated in areas that are currently inaccessible to emergency and rescue teams. The ongoing challenges in reaching affected sites continue to hinder rescue efforts.
