Doha: Qatari newspapers have emphasized the participation of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani in a consultative meeting with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Foreign Ministers, highlighting the importance of continuous Gulf coordination in light of regional developments. The meeting, conducted via videoconferencing, underscored the need for a unified stance in addressing challenges facing the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the newspapers stressed the strategic importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical channel for global energy security and trade. The discussions also focused on the ongoing diplomatic activities following US President Donald Trump's remarks regarding negotiations with Iran.
