‘GCC keen to continue building international strategic partnerships’

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, stated that the GCC states are actively engaging with international and regional organisations as part of their efforts to establish strategic partnerships that serve their interests.

This statement was made during a meeting held today between the GCC Secretary-General and the MIKTA Group at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The MIKTA Group consists of the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Indonesia, the United States of Mexico, the Republic of Korea, and Australia. Each country was represented by its ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting primarily focused on discussing cooperation and dialogue relations between the Cooperation Council and the MIKTA Group.
