Munich: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohammed Albudaiwi affirmed the GCC states’ support for all international and regional efforts aimed at improving the humanitarian situation in Gaza, emphasizing the unconditional entry of aid into the Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, during his meeting with Jorge Moreira da Silva, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), at the Munich Security Conference, Albudaiwi stressed the need for urgent interventions. He highlighted the importance of supporting basic services, addressing the situation of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and engaging in political action to advance the path towards a sustainable solution.
The discussions also covered cooperation between the GCC and the United Nations in the field of projects and explored ways to support and develop them. This collaboration aims to enhance regional cooperation and serve common interests.
