New york: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares, to discuss the strategic relations between the GCC countries and Spain, focusing on ways to strengthen and advance these relations across various fields. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the meetings of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the discussion, the GCC Secretary General praised Spain’s humanitarian stance on the Palestinian issue and the crisis in Gaza. He emphasized that Spain’s position reflects values of solidarity and justice, contributing to international efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and to promote security and stability in the region.
