Riyadh: The 3rd Global Project Management Forum (GPMF) will launch on June 2-3, 2024, in Riyadh. Under the theme “We Achieve the Dream: Leadership, Empowerment, Sustainability,” this event is held under the patronage of Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser.

The GPMF, according to the forum’s organizing committee, will discuss diverse topics related to project management across various sectors. It serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, opinions, and creative solutions for the successful execution of major projects.

President of GPMF at the Project Management Institute KSA Chapter Eng. Badr M. Burshaid highlighted the forum’s growing reputation as a global platform that attracts industry experts, project managers, and decision-makers worldwide. He also emphasized that the event aims to foster collaboration, unify visions, and develop innovative solutions to ensure successful project implementation while overcoming challenges and contributing to sustainable economic d
evelopment on a regional and global scale.

Burshaid said, “The GPMF has elevated Saudi Arabia’s prominent position and leading role in the realm of impressive and futuristic projects since the launch of Vision 2030 in 2016. The forum attracts project pioneers from around the globe, including thought leaders, business experts, academics, and professionals. These efforts align with government initiatives to establish Riyadh as a sustainable and economically significant global city.”

The forum targets a broad audience from various sectors, including the public and private sectors, semi-governmental entities, engineering and contracting firms, procurement companies, startups, construction and infrastructure companies, entrepreneurs, executives, project managers, strategy managers, developers, project management office managers, project management consultants, and technology providers.

The GPMF aims to empower women, professionals, and ambitious youth by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to
achieve project management excellence. This aim will be achieved by highlighting key areas such as the economy, governance, work methods, value chain, large projects, sustainable social impact, digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, soft power skills, and other topics that support global sustainability and empower leaders worldwide.

The forum includes an interactive exhibition, in which diverse entities from local and international economic sectors participate. Additionally, the forum organizes workshops led by competent specialists, and offers accredited professional development units to further enhance participants’ skills and expertise.
