Gold Prices Rise 0.5% as Market Hits Two-Week High


Doha: Gold prices rose Tuesday, reaching their highest level in more than two weeks: Spot gold increased by 0.5% to $3,382.19 per ounce as of 17:50 GMT, marking its highest level since August 11.



According to Qatar News Agency, U.S. gold futures for December delivery also ended the session up 0.5% at $3,433. Regarding other precious metals, silver rose 0.1% in spot trading to $38.52 per ounce, while platinum fell 0.1% to $1,340.88. Meanwhile, palladium climbed 1.5% to $1,102.65, after earlier touching its lowest level since July 9.
