Gold Prices Steady as Investors Anticipate US Rate Hikes

Doha:Early Asian trading saw gold prices remain steady as investors evaluated the chances of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates again this year.

According to Qatar News Agency, spot gold was unchanged at $4,285.31 per ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery also held steady at $4,321.40.

In the broader precious metals market, spot silver experienced a decline of 0.6% to $64.08 per ounce. Meanwhile, platinum prices were stable at $1,749.47, and palladium saw a slight increase of 0.2%, reaching $1,261.95 per ounce.
