Google Releases New Update for Gemini App with iPad Enhancements

Doha: Google has released a new update to its Gemini app for Apple devices, including improvements specifically for iPads. The smart assistant now takes full advantage of the screen, having previously displayed a compact interface the size of an iPhone.

According to Qatar News Agency, the latest update allows Gemini to run in full-screen mode on iPads, adds a widget to the home screen, and integrates with Google Photos, which enhances the user experience and expands the app’s artificial intelligence capabilities.

Among the most notable features of the update are full support for iPad screens with an improved interface, the ability to add a Gemini widget to the home screen, support for integration with Google Photos, and UI improvements and bug fixes.

The Gemini app for iPhones and iPads gives users the ability to interact with Google Assistant, which integrates with services such as search, YouTube, Gmail, and Google Maps. It also offers advanced search tools, image creation, study assistance, and idea generation.

Gemini app is available for free, while the more Advanced Gemini version requires a subscription to the Google One AI Premium package, which costs $20 per month. This price is competitive with similar packages offered by companies like OpenAI and Anthropic.
