During the conversation, HE the Finnish President inquired about the state of affairs in Qatar following the recent Iranian aggression. He conveyed Finland's condemnation of the attacks and expressed solidarity with Qatar's measures to safeguard its sovereignty and security. President Stubb acknowledged Qatar's significant role in promoting peace and efforts in fostering international security and peace.
According to Qatar News Agency, both leaders emphasized the importance of de-escalation and the necessity of prioritizing diplomatic channels and political dialogue to manage the crisis effectively. They highlighted the urgent need for an immediate resolution to halt the conflict and reiterated the importance of adhering to the principles of international law and the United Nations charter. This commitment aims to enhance security within the region and promote broader regional and international stability.
