Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in discussions with HE President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, focusing on the bilateral relations between Qatar and Rwanda and exploring avenues for further cooperation. This meeting took place at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir welcomed President Kagame, highlighting the robust ties between the two nations across various fields that are of mutual interest. President Kagame expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized Rwanda's commitment to bolstering friendly relations with Qatar in numerous sectors.
The discussions also included an exchange of views on recent regional and international developments and strategies to promote global peace and security. Several ministers and senior officials from both countries were present at the meeting, underscoring the importance of the discussions.
