HH the Amir Arrives in New Delhi for State Visit


New Delhi: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Monday in New Delhi, marking the beginning of a state visit to the Republic of India. HH the Amir was welcomed upon arrival at Palam Air Base by HE Prime Minister Narendra Modi, HE Minister of External Affairs Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar in New Delhi Mohammed bin Hassan Al Jaber, and HE Ambassador of the Republic of India in Doha Vipul. The welcoming delegation also included staff from the Qatari embassy.



According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir is accompanied by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, as well as an official delegation. This visit signifies the strengthening of bilateral relations between Qatar and India, with discussions expected to cover various areas of cooperation.
