Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development 2025, currently taking place in Doha. The meeting facilitated an exchange of views on the summit’s agenda and explored ways to bolster cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also covered a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern. The meeting was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, along with several senior officials.
