Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, at Lusail Palace. The Crown Prince offered his condolences to HH the Amir on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was attended by HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and several distinguished members of the Qatari leadership. This included HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, and a number of the late HH the Father Amir's sons and other notable Sheikhs.
HRH the Crown Prince of Bahrain was accompanied by his delegation, which included HH Advisor to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, HE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, HE Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, among others. The meeting demonstrated the close ties between the two nations and the shared respect for the late Father Amir.
