Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HE Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the sisterly Republic of the Sudan Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, on the victims of the landslide that occurred in the Marra Mountains region of Darfur, western Sudan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
According to Qatar News Agency, the landslide in the Marra Mountains region has resulted in significant casualties. HH the Amir expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the victims' families and extended his wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in the unfortunate incident. The communication underscores the solidarity and support extended by Qatar to Sudan during this challenging time.
