Vatican City: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has sent a cable of congratulations to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, on the occasion of his election as Pope of the Vatican.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Amir’s message expressed warm congratulations and best wishes to Pope Leo XIV as he assumes his new role. The Amir also emphasized the importance of strengthening the bonds of cooperation and dialogue between Qatar and the Vatican under the leadership of the newly elected Pope.
