The General Directorate of the Holy Makkah Municipality recently held its first meeting of the Committee for Developing and Coordinating Integrated Services on Roads and Pedestrian Rest Areas in the Holy Sites in preparation for the upcoming Hajj season of 1446 AH. The meeting for Hajj and Umrah was chaired by Holy Capital for Hajj and Umrah Deputy Secretary Eng. Khalid bin Abdullah Sindi and was attended by representatives from all parties involved in Hajj operations. During the meeting, preparations for the upcoming Hajj season were discussed. Participants reviewed the recommendations from the previous 1445 AH Hajj season and focused on enhancing positive aspects and addressing any observed issues. They also discussed completed and postponed work, determined implementation periods, and developed optimal solutions and recommendations to be utilized in the 1446 AH Hajj season. The municipality emphasized that the meeting was part of its early preparation for the Hajj season to ensure a safe and comfortabl e environment for pilgrims. It indicated that the organization and coordination of essential services in the Holy Sites are being carried out centrally to ensure the readiness of the infrastructure and enhance the quality of services provided, in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing the best services to pilgrims each year.
