Doha: The Department of Meteorology has forecasted that inshore weather today is expected to be hot and humid at times, with a possibility of local clouds forming. Offshore conditions are anticipated to be hazy at intervals.
According to Qatar News Agency, the inshore winds will predominantly be easterly-southeasterly at speeds ranging from 05-15 KT, with gusts potentially reaching 20 KT during the daytime. Offshore, the wind pattern will be southeasterly-northeasterly, blowing at 03-13 KT.
In terms of sea conditions, inshore waters are projected to have sea heights between 1-2 feet, while offshore waters are expected to range from 1-3 feet. Visibility is anticipated to vary between 5-9 km inshore and 4-9 km offshore, impacting travel and maritime activities.
