Hot to Very Hot Conditions Expected Saturday

Doha: The Department of Meteorology has forecast hot to very hot conditions during the day until 6:00 pm on Saturday inshore, with fine weather offshore. Strong winds and high seas are expected in northern offshore areas by evening.

According to Qatar News Agency, inshore winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly at 6-16 knots (KT), gusting to 26 KT during the daytime. Offshore winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at 8-18 KT, with gusts reaching up to 24 KT in northern areas by evening.

Sea conditions inshore will range between 1 and 3 feet, rising to 5 feet in northern areas. Offshore seas will range from 2 to 5 feet, rising to as high as 7 feet in the north. Visibility, both inshore and offshore, will range between 5 and 9 kilometers.

Temperature forecasts indicate that Doha will experience temperatures ranging from a minimum of 32°C to a maximum of 43°C. In comparison, Dukhan's temperatures will range between 24°C and 35°C. Messaid and Wakrah are expected to see highs of up to 41°C, while Al Khor could reach 42°C. Ruwais will have a maximum temperature of 35°C, and Abu Samra will see temperatures ranging from 26°C to 38°C.

High and low tide times have also been detailed, with high tide expected in Doha at 02:24 and 16:54, while low tide will occur at 10:03. Other areas such as Dukhan, Messaid, and Wakrah have been provided with their respective tide times, indicating fluctuating sea levels throughout the day.

Sunrise is expected at 04:43 local time, and sunset will occur at 18:19 local time, providing a long day of daylight for residents and visitors in the region.
