Freiburg: A fire broke out in an industrial area in the German city of Freiburg, causing damage estimated at approximately 75 million euros, according to German police.
According to Qatar News Agency, the fire resulted in minor injuries to a company worker, and more than 200 firefighters responded to the scene, but the cause remains unknown.
A police spokesman described the fire as an exceptionally large incident, pointing out that the flames completely destroyed an industrial complex housing several companies covering an area of approximately 40,000 square meters in the Hochdorf district.
German authorities reported that eight companies were affected by the incident, including a pharmaceutical company.
Last June, three people were killed and more than 50 others injured in a fire at the Marienkrankenhaus Hamburg hospital in Germany.
