Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Pakistani counterpart, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, discussed Saturday via phone the recent regional and international developments, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers emphasized the importance of enhancing regional ties and leveraging available resources in trade and transportation. They also reaffirmed their commitment to expanding both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The conversation underscored the need to activate diplomatic channels, improve information exchange, and coordinate efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability across the region. Both ministers welcomed the recent ceasefire in Gaza, describing it as a step toward ending the “acts of genocide” in the Gaza Strip.
